KOROR (PICRC) — In accordance to the recommendations provided by the Ministry of Health in MOH Directive No. 114-20, Palau International Coral Reef Center will be returning to normal business starting May 18, 2020.

While the public will be able to access the center’s facilities, such as the Giant Clam Gift Shop, conference rooms and general offices, the Palau Aquarium will remain closed until further notice due to ongoing maintenance work and repairs.

Seeking to protect and limit risk to all partners, collaborators, guests, and public at large, the programs that have been cancelled, such as the internship programs, will remain cancelled for the rest of this year.  Outreach and engagement programs will continue, but limited to small groups and online engagement.  Precautionary measures, such as frequent handwashing and respiratory etiquette, will be maintained while visiting the Center.  We request the public to refrain from visiting the center while sick.
