(Commonwealth Utilities Corp.) — There will be scheduled power interruptions on Aug. 31, Sept. 2 and 3, 2020.

Monday, Aug. 31

9: a.m. to 1 p.m.

Sectionalized outage on the Feeder 7 Circuit

Power service areas affected:  Tanapag (areas north of the Tanapag Mobil Gas Station), Achugao, San Roque, As Matuis and Marpi

Water well(s) affected: As Matuis, San Roque, Achugao and Tanapag

Wastewater lift station(s) affected: SR-1, SR-2, and SR-3

Wednesday, Sept. 2

8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Sectionalized outage on the Kiya 1 Circuit

Power service area(s) affected:  Chalan Tun Herman Pan (Saagh Pl.), Airport Road Dandan

Thursday, Sept. 3

9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

 Sectionalized outage on Feeder 4 Circuit

A momentary outage to remove jumpers (about 15 mins. to 20 minutes affecting San Vicente, Isa Drive north of P&Y Rental Apartments to Papago Isa Drive; Botanical Garden

9 a.m. to 1 p.m. outage in Papago, Isa Drive, Botanical Garden to Kagman Mobil Gas Station

These scheduled power interruptions will de-energize utility lines so that CUC linemen are able to safely replace rusted power pole hardware, deteriorated cross arms and rotted primary poles in the affected areas. 

Because of the scale of work that will be performed, CUC asks travelers to take alternate routes or to exercise caution when driving through the affected areas.
