(Press Release) — On Saturday morning, 5 a.m., local time, there was a live virtual National Geographic GeoBee celebration for all the school champions who qualified for their state level competitions. Saipan Community School is so proud of its very own 8th grader, Paul Camacho, for making it to the state level and representing SCS school with his hard work and dedication.

“We recognize that even though this has been an untraditional way forward, Paul kept studying and making the most of his opportunity. We are so proud of you, and we love you!” said SCS principal/superintendent Amanda June Allen Dunn.

Below is a link to the celebration. “Take a few moments to check it out and acknowledge the students’ hard work as well as see the level of competition that Paul was up against! To all our geographers at SCS, keep studying! Keep learning! Keep growing! A big thank you to National Geographic for putting on this virtual celebration and fun competition together!”
