It was a high-scoring first half with CTSI grasping the lead due to Irish Pagarao’s relentless attacks inside the paint that drew a handful of fouls while Jan Travilla shot the lights out from beyond the arc with back-to-back triples.

The Lady Ol’Aces struggled to find their rhythm, but eventually heated up with three triples to stay alive.

The second half was a game of defense as the Lady Ol’Aces kicked it up a notch, preventing Pagarao and Travilla from maintaining their efficiency. With each successful stop, the Lady Ol’Aces’ Tazha Deleon Guerrero and Lia Rangamar stepped up with crucial makes while Cassadra Camacho connected the shot to tie the score, 40-40, and send the game to overtime.

But the Lady Ol’Aces failed to keep up during crunch time as only Camacho and Jaime Pangelinan could penetrate through while Travilla and Pagarao contributed three points apiece to secure the win and the title for CTSI, 46-44.

CTSI 46 - Irish Pagarao 14, Jan Travilla 14, Nana Watanabe 11, Madeline Alegre 2, Mikki Kautz 2, Emi Oiterong 2
