Rollers 1 were calm and collected as they picked apart Rollers 2’s defense. With each successful push, Rollers 1’s Matthew Richardson capitalized and scored three consecutive buckets to hand his team control.

Rollers 2 followed closely behind thanks to Jayyart Palms’ consistency, scoring eight straight points, but their hopes were quickly erased as Rollers 1’s fresh five stepped up and delivered. Dillan Cruz, Steve King and Gregory Deleon Guerrero all contributed to give their team a 34-19 lead by halftime.

Rollers 1 had a good scare when they reached a bump in their path to victory due to miscommunication that allowed Rollers 2 to catch up. Koby Mizutani suddenly found his stroke as he connected back to back shots.

Luckily for Rollers 1, Ervin Villarin had an answer on the other end, putting up eight points while King ended the game with two buckets to secure the win and the championship for Rollers 1, 58-47.
