EATS Easy x The Game is headed to the finals of the Men’s M-League Masters Division with a clean slate after a dominant performance against the Matansa Football Club on Sunday at the NMI Soccer Training Center.

Eats Easy was on a roll as its players brought in nine goals in just the first half of the game. Martin Jambor fueled the team’s momentum as he opened up with the first two goals at the 8th and 10th minute marks to set the tone. Their assault quickly overwhelmed MFC as Fradel Sedillo, Suguru Takahashi, Jershwin Angeles and Michiteru Mita chipped in a goal each while Jambor stayed efficient with three more goals to stretch the lead, 9-1.

The Matansa Football Club did not end the first half silently as Lar Wongpaya slipped in the team’s lone goal at the 21st minute mark. But Eats Easy shined brighter throughout the second half, scoring 12 more goals.

Jambor never lost his touch, adding seven goals to put Eats Easy further out of sight. Angeles also made his presence known with two goals alongside Panapa Peteru and Mita. The Matansa player still gave it their all with Alvin Takai scoring at the 55th minute mark before his team went down in defeat, 2-21.

The Paire Football Club locked in its spot in the finals with a “free” win against Los Viejos via a forfeit.

Eats Easy x The Game and Paire will face off in the title game this Sunday at 6 p.m. while Los Viejos and MFC will fight for third place.
