KNFC played smart and aggressive, transitioning through the turf smoothly with precision passes, leading to an early goal at the 3rd minute mark courtesy of Pauline Joyce. She continued to punish SUFC as she added her second goal at the 11th minute mark. SUFC focused on shutting down Joyce but it only opened up more shot opportunities for KNFC as Stephanie Flores scored her team’s third goal for a comfortable 3-0 lead.

SUFC struggled but managed to break the silence in the second half. As soon as the ball dropped, SUFC went for the kill with Kaithlyn Chavez draining her team’s first goal of the game at the 24th minute mark.

KNFC answered back six minutes later with Joyce connecting her third goal. But SUFC did not go down without a fight as Lillian Podziewski fired a goal at the 37th minute mark before her team bowed to KNFC 2-4.

In the battle for second place, Shirley’s Football Club took down the TanHoldings Football Club 7-3, thanks to the consistency of SFC players Jannah Casarino and Katrina Costales.
