KAGMAN High School remains the top contender in the 2020 PSS Interscholastic Outrigger Canoe Race after placing first in the girls and boys divisions of the distance event on Saturday at Kilili Beach in Oleai.

The distance race was from Kilili Beach to the 13 Fishermen as its turning point and back to Kilili Beach.

The KHS girls clocked 54:22.90 to beat MHS and SSHS. MHS came in second, 55:11.97, while SSHS was third, 55:39.18.

In the boys division, KHS was again victorious, clocking 47:32.80. SSHS and MHS were far behind, finishing 51:39.18 and 59:52.95 respectively.

The last race will be held on Saturday, March 7, at Kilili Beach across from the Gilbert C. Ada Gym.
