Pajarillaga wins Filtaga championship

(Press Release) — Albert Pajarillaga, who led the opening round with a two-over-par74, scored 1-over-par 73 on the final day to win the Filtaga Club championship at the panoramic King Fisher Golf Links over the weekend.

Pajarillaga submitted a two-round total of 147. Coming in distant second were Henry Bautista and Mike Cruz who both limped home 8 shots off the leaderboard shooting a combined total of 11-over-par 155.

Third place honors went to Emil Padernal and Ernie Lopez who registered an identical 13-over-par 157.

Pajarillaga took home the championship trophy, $300 cash, and an entry to the 2020 DFS Tournament of Champions.

To spice up the awards banquet, prizes were raffled and they included a 50-inch smart TV donated by Richard Saludez; two entry tickets from Duty Free shoppers; and three free rounds of golf sponsored by King Fisher Golf Links.
