The Vegas E-Gamers, who rarely hit a long shot, invested in inside attacks to take the lead in the second quarter.

They had lost five consecutive games due to lack of players, Vegas point guard Mico Usi said.

Luckily for them, the Pacific Mariners, who only had one win out of five games, were short-handed as well.

With Isip blasting a series of three-pointers, Pacific Marine dominated the first quarter.

But passing errors gave Vegas the chance to close the gap in the beginning of the second quarter with Usi scoring at will.

Park also went on a scoring rampage in the second canto to help hand the Vegas E-Gamers an eight-point advantage at the end of the first half.

Isip continued his outside shooting, hitting two of his six attempts to keep pace with Surima, Manangan and Guilas who contributed three, five, and eight points respectively.

Thanks to Usi’s inside shots, Vegas kept the lead in the third canto.

Cortez and Bisana surged with six points apiece and Barreto contributed four points as the Vegas E-Gamers widened the gap in the fourth quarter en route to their first victory.
