THE Northern Marianas Sports Association and the Guam National Olympic Committee are creating an all-sports event named the Marianas Cup,  NMSA president Jerry Tan and GNOC representative Joey Miranda III said Thursday last week, during the NMSA general membership meeting in the Taga Hall of Fiesta Resort and Spa Saipan.

FREDDIE Cataluna fired a sizzling 8-under par 64 to win the Filtaga’s turkey shootout  and unseated 2019 turkey titlist Ruben Avendano, who came home with a 5-over par 77 at the well-maintained LaoLao Bay East course over the weekend.
