I AM really addressing this to Democrats and Republicans but this is especially for our elected Governor, Senate President & Speaker who are our official leaders.

I know by the very title of this letter to the editor that no politician worth a vote CAN say they didn’t read it or know about it like we see the Republican leader “Trump” pretending to be ignorant. But God ain’t sleeping as the president has literally killed thousands with his foolish leadership and is now a victim of his own foolish and misguiding leadership with Covid-19. Hopefully Trump followers with their no mask protesting will now see how foolish they were following a fool and wake up and wear a mask for the sake of us ALL or Covid may never go away!

But Governor, you were the first Governor to support Trump and have continued even after it was exposed that he is a racist BIGOT! Now the entire world is frowning on America because our president flat out refuses to denounce White Supremacy and has even told them to “stand back & standby” as if it was for them to prepare for the outcome of the election to start rioting and killing, if he loses. Racism is now an issue that the entire planet is now wrestling with and I am calling upon YOU especially the Governor, Sen. President & Speaker to denounce racism and any form of White and Local Supremacy on the Public Stage, as any form of supremacy for a race of people to be above or better or different than the other is a form of RACISM! PLEASE HELP YOUR PEOPLE to make sure our Social Fabric is not made-up of any racism in any form but a fabric of diversity and full of colors that is even stronger and better from the diversity of people who make up our Social Fabric.

I am challenging all leaders, especially the Governor, Senate President & Speaker to do some real Leading and it shouldn’t matter about the messenger but the message of racism, as our president has literally put ALL Americans in-bed with the White Supremacy & Neo-Nazi Groups and our leaders must denounce this relationship in the CNMI as, our children are watching — for TRUE. This is truly a social and political issue of our entire nation and the CNMI is no exception. I could use your help too as I am preparing to do a Film Festival on the “Origins & Evolution of Racism in America” that everyone should see if they haven’t seen Amistad and the original ROOTS this Saturday the 10th at the MHS GYM from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. so PLEASE help me with the fight against racism in the CNMI because it does exist.

As a teacher, I showed the Film Roots and explained about slavery and racism. I had many students to admit “they didn’t know they were racists until they saw the film” or they knew they were racist and felt bad about it and changed their behavior. Racism is a learned behavior and it is still being taught to children in the CNMI (Locals over Everyone else) which is why it is all important for our official Leaders to speak out on this subject if you truly care about racism and the Social Fabric of the CNMI. I know that I have been on the case of Republicans but this is truly an opportunity for YOU to take the HIGH Road and show that you are professionals who truly care about the Social Fabric of the CNMI, especially when other nations from whom our Tourists will come are not only watching America but the CNMI tooooo! I know many citizens of the CNMI will be looking forward to hearing from our leaders especially at the Governor, Sen. President & Speaker to see what they are going to do and say about the President’s refusal to deny White Supremacy in America and racism in the CNMI. WE the People will truly know who are truly the Honorable, Respectful and Humble People WE thought we elected. So don’t forget leaders, “your silence damns us all and all it takes for evil racism to exist in the CNMI is for the good & honorable people to do & say nothing.” One People, One Direction.
