CLOSE to 400 individuals showed up for the job fair held by Triple J on Monday at the multi-purpose center.

The event started at 9 a.m. and ended at 4:30 p.m., but as of 1:30 p.m., Triple J had already received 360 applications, Triple J Saipan human resources director Frank Ada said.

Most of the applicants expressed interest in working for Triple J restaurants, he added.

Dozens waited to be interviewed for the positions of servers, cooks, kitchen-helpers, bakers, kitchen managers, meat-cutter, and managers.

Ada said the other open positions included IT generalist, accounting associate, housekeeping supervisor, vehicle-service attendant, pre-delivery inspector, service advisor, licensed electrical engineer, licensed mechanical engineer, and repair and maintenance personnel.

“Every time we have a job fair, we have been fortunate to have a lot of good candidates,” Ada said. “We attract a lot of prospective employees — including senior citizens. We are really hoping to hire some of them.”
