Groundbreaking ceremony to be held for new animal shelter building

THE Office of the Mayor of Saipan will hold a groundbreaking ceremony on Friday for the new multifunctional animal shelter building in As Perdido.

The ceremony will begin at 10 a.m. with Luise Villagomez, the program coordinator of the mayor’s office as the mistress of ceremonies.

An invocation will be led by Reverend Fr. Harold Funa, pastor of St. Jude Parish, while the opening remarks will be given by Saipan Mayor David Apatang.

Gov. Ralph DLG Torres will deliver special remarks.

An overview of the project will be provided by architect Crystal Cabrera Deleon Guerrero from the Department of Public Works- Technical Services Division.
