HOUSEHOLD items are being dumped into  trash cans at Pakpak Beach in San Antonio, community volunteer Max Aguon said.

Every Saturday and Sunday, Aguon collects trash from Tottotville to Pakpak Beach in San Antonio and then to Sugar Dock.

At Pakpak Beach, he said he inspected one of the trash bags in a trash can and found household items such as empty bottles inside.

Community volunteer Max Aguon found household items in one of the trash cans at Pakpak Beach on Saturday.

Max Aguon collected  over  1,300 lbs. of trash on Sunday at public beaches.

On Saturday, Oct. 3, Aguon said he collected 540 lbs. of trash; on Sunday, Oct. 4, he collected nearly two and a half times heavier garbage than the day before at 1,340 lbs.

Aguon is reminding members of the community to dispose of their household trash responsibly and not to dump them into beach trash cans.
