THE Rotary Club of Saipan headed by its president Sonya Dancoe inducted two new members on Tuesday.

They are Charles V. Cepeda, general manager of Pacific Trading Company, who was sponsored by club director Das Krishnan; and Ely Buenaventura, general manager of Calvo’s Insurance who was sponsored by club vice president Wendell Posadas.

Dancoe welcomed the two new members to the club. “You will be expected to attend club meetings, regularly perform your share of club service, and place your knowledge and talents at the club's disposal,” she said.

“You are tasked to carry the principles of Rotary into your daily life with the community,” she added.

In his remarks, Cepeda said he appreciated the club for considering his membership.

“We will continue being safe with this pandemic so everyone can enjoy our fellowship in the Rotary Club every week,” he added.

Buenaventura said the four-way test of the Rotary Club is the kind of test that he would like to pass all the time.

The four way test is: Is it the truth? Is it fair to all concerned? Will it build goodwill and better friendships? Will it be beneficial to all concerned?
