THE Bureau of Environmental Health has shut down I Fashion Salon in Garapan for noncompliance with the Covid-19 safety measure requirements.

After BEH conducted an inspection, a notice of closure  was posted on the door of the establishment at 2:30 p.m., Tuesday.

BEH said among the violations that I Fashion committed included not logging the names of its customers and the number of customers who had patronized the beauty salon.

I Fashion also failed to put up signs and enforce social distancing, BEH added.

BEH said it will allow the salon to reopen once it complies with the Covid-19 safety measures.

BEH said it is visiting other businesses to ensure that safety measures are in place in those establishments.

Marianas Variety had reached out to I Fashion management for comment.

On its Facebook page,  I Fashion management said: “We requested to sanitize our area for staff and customers’ safety.”

Staff members were also tested for Covid-19. “As of Aug. 17, their test results were negative.”

“To all of our customers that visited us recently, you can have yourself checked if you are in doubt and also for your safety. We really want to say sorry for the inconvenience,” the management stated.
