THE Zoning Board approved four conditional-use permit applications for various purposes.

However, board chair Tatiana Babauta said they did not act on the application of Guangdong Development Co. Ltd., which is proposing to construct and operate a block plant manufacturing and processing facility in Susupe, an area zoned as village commercial.

The purpose applied for is classified as "manufacturing and processing," she said, adding that the applicant's business is suitable for an industrial zone.

"So we neither denied nor approved the application," she said, and suggested that the applicant may have to look for another place in an industrial zone.

The board approved the conditional-use permit applications of Viray Enterprises, Inc., which proposes to occupy an existing building for a car air-conditioning repair shop in Chinatown; Ha'num Lina'La Assembly, which plans to operate a church in Tanapag; Huang Shun Corp., which aims to occupy an existing building for a manufacturing and processing facility in Susupe; and Fritz Pacific Building, which intends to renovate and occupy an existing building for its office in Susupe.
