Saipan Marianas Lions Club distributes care packages

THE Saipan Marianas Lions Club on Sunday morning at Garapan Central Park distributed care packages to 100 workers on CW-1 permits and are not eligible to participate in the Nutrition Assistance Program.

Club president Ladyvir Canape said each package consisted of rice, juice and milk.

“We used the proceeds from our club fundraising activities to purchase the items for the care packages, and we also received donations from Alpex Saipan, TSL Foundation, and the Friends of CW,” she added.

Canape expressed her appreciation to all  donors, supporters and club members.

The  Lions Club members who volunteered in the distribution of care packages on Sunday were Alice Lorin, Alma Famat, Tess Tan, Ezeth Smith and her Leo daughter Zean Bautista, Jhun Canape,  Martha Badelles,  Irene Holl,  Mary Grace Baustista,  Cory Camba,  Lolit Velasco,  Domeng Dones,  Judy Mendieta  and her husband Ayi Jinang,  Letty Canching,  Jane Silapan,  Belen Abalos,  Danny Borlain and his nephew, Agnes Camacho and club president Ladyvir Canape.
