Man arrested for criminal mischief

(DPS) — On Wednesday, Aug, 12, 2020, at about 4:04 p.m., the Department of Public Safety received a 911 call reporting a criminal mischief complaint, in Susupe. Police were dispatched to the scene.

Upon arrival at around 4:18 p.m., police met with the caller at the scene. The caller led police to a vehicle that had its front windshield damaged by an unknown object.

Police were shown the surveillance footage from the night prior which showed a male individual throwing an object toward the vehicle.

Upon reviewing the footage police immediately recognized the suspect as Lucas Manglona from prior incidents.

At about 4:40 p.m., police located the suspect near the area and placed him under arrest at about 4:44 p.m. He was brought to Kanoa Resort for clearance before being transported to the Department of Corrections to be booked and processed.

On Thursday, Aug. 13, 2020, Judge Teresa Kim-Tenorio issued a rule 5 warrant for Manglona with  bail set at $3,000 as he awaits arraignment.
