THE Marianas Visitors Authority has intensified its marketing and promotional programs through various modern and online platforms, MVA Managing Director Priscilla Iakopo said.

She said MVA is also looking for a new marketing manager after Thomas Kim resigned in July for personal reasons.

While MVA is in the process of issuing a job vacancy announcement it will also participate in the upcoming Pacific Asia Travel Association's "Dream to Travel Festival," Iakopo said.

She added that the free online event will allow MVA “to network and strengthen our relationships with other stakeholders in the time of pandemic.”

Recently, MVA launched a new series of video and photo productions on social media platforms.

A five-minute video provides viewers a glimpse of the NMI tourist attractions and a virtual experience of the islands.

“This video gives tourists a tour of the cultures and natural beauty of the Marianas and aims to create a positive emotional response, which will increase demand for the Marianas once they are ready to travel again,” Iakopo said.
