SOME individuals are still disposing their household trash at beaches and parks, community volunteer, Max Aguon said.

On Monday, he said he and fellow volunteer Victor Shai found household trash dumped at Garapan Central Park.

Aguon said they also caught one person who was trying to dump his trash into a parked trailer.

At Marine Beach in Kagman, Aguon said they found household trash mixed with party trash, adding that some people continue to scatter trash on the beach.

I hope the Department of Public Safety will include the beaches in their regular patrols to deter people from throwing household garbage in beach areas,” he added

After Christmas, Aguon said the other volunteers cleaned the pavilions and surrounding areas at Sugar Dock Beach in Susupe.

He said they also collected a lot of trash in Marpi and Paupau Beach.
