COMMONWEALTH Healthcare Corp. Chief Executive Officer Esther L. Muna invited lawmakers to a “courtesy briefing” set for Friday.

The briefing will be conducted via videoconference, Muna said, adding that she will provide legislators with a summary of the CHCC response to the Covid-19 pandemic.

“As you know, information about the virus is constantly evolving, and we would like to inform you of CHCC’s efforts to prevent and control the virus, and increase CNMI’s capacity to identify and treat people diagnosed with Covid-19,” Muna told the lawmakers in separate invitations.

The governor’s Covid-19 Task Force reported that as of June 8, 2020, the CNMI had recorded a total of 28 cumulative cases, with seven active cases, 19 recoveries and two deaths.
