According to information filed in court, the 40-year-old Arriola has been charged by the government with two counts of trafficking a controlled substance or “ice,” which is punishable by up to 10 years’ imprisonment and $5,000 fine, or both.

The CNMI Drug Enforcement Task Force conducted two buy-walk operations in October 2019 during which an informant bought methamphetamine or ice from Arriola.

Arriola was arrested on Jan. 28, 2019.
