Burglary and theft incident at Papago home

(DPS) — On Friday, April 24, 2020, at about 6:25 a.m., the Department of Public Safety received a 911 call reporting a burglary and theft in Papago. Police were dispatched to the scene.

At about 6:32 a.m., police arrived at the residence and met with the caller. The caller led police to the back of the residence where officers noticed a 5’ x 10’ window that appeared to have been tampered.

Items reported missing from the residence include: one Dewalt drill set, one jigsaw (no brand reported), one grinder, one drill with a cord, two battery chargers and three tablets.

The Department of Public Safety would like to remind the public to be diligent when purchasing tools and/or electronic devices from unknown individuals, or online.
