BECQ continues to provide services during Covid-19 pandemic

(BECQ) — The Bureau of Environmental and Coastal Quality has announced that it will be providing limited services to the public during the Covid-19 pandemic. BECQ will be minimizing direct contact between staff and applicants, permittees, and visitors by receiving and processing permit applications, as well as issuing permits, electronically when possible. Social distancing will continue to be strictly enforced.

Division of Coastal Resource Management

The BECQ-DCRM Permitting Section will be available to assist via telephone at 664-8300 on Monday – Thursday, 8 a.m. – 11 a.m.


To apply for a CRM permit:

Select “apply here” to apply through the online permitting system

Once submitted, CRM permitting staff will contact you to confirm receipt of your application.

For individuals with no internet access, hard copies of applications will be available for pick-up on the 1st floor of the BECQ office. Application submission will be by appointment only.

To all marine sports operators, this is a friendly reminder that your current permits are set to expire on May 30, 2020. If you intend to renew your CRM permit, please do so prior to expiration.
