As of Saturday, April 18, 437 families had received relief goods from UFO, its president Marcelino Masilungan said.

Members of UFO’s affiliated groups assisted in the distribution of the items in various villages on island, he added.

The relief goods consisted of rice and assorted canned goods, Mailungan said as he thanked donors and partners that included Karidat and LBC Express. “We would also like to thank our business partners for their continued support,” he said.

Masilungan said UFO members and volunteers strictly observed social-distancing rules during the distribution of relief goods.
