TINIAN Mayor Edwin Aldan expressed his appreciation to first responders for exerting their best efforts in addressing the Covid-19 crisis.

He said he is very grateful to the governor’s Covid-19 Task Force, the Commonwealth Healthcare Corp., the Tinian Health Center, the Department of Public Safety, the Department of Fire and Emergency Medical Service, the Commonwealth Ports Authority, and all the first-line responders.
“They allow us the luxury of sheltering in place while they put their personal well-being and health at risk every day to save ours,” the mayor said in a statement.
He urged community members to express their appreciation to first responders by staying home, practicing strict social distancing and complying with all prevention directives.
He said community members should also show support by sending “words of encouragement and positive vibes” to first responders on social media platforms or other media.
