FOR this Holy Week and Easter Sunday message to his constituents, Saipan Mayor David M. Apatang said: “Though we may be apart, we must all come together in prayer and strengthen the bonds that hold us together as a caring and loving community.”

He also urged community members to renew their faith in the Lord and ask God for guidance and strength, as they all work together to overcome the Covid-19 pandemic.
“We are a community of peace, understanding, respect, perseverance, humility and love,” he said, adding that he wishes everyone to have a very safe and blessed celebration of Easter Sunday with their loved ones.
Before leaving Saipan on March 10 for a medical appointment in Hawaii, Apatang appointed Saipan and Northern Islands Municipal Council Chairwoman Debra Camacho as acting mayor.
