(Commonwealth Utilities Corp.) — There will be a scheduled power interruption on Friday, March 13, at the following time and locations:

8:30 a.m. to 9 a.m.

• Outage type: Sectionalized lateral outage on Feeder 4 distribution circuit.

• Power service area(s) affected:

Feeder 4

1st Partial: Lower Base, a portion of the northern side of Sadog Tasi, government offices, northern side of Capital Hill, and As Quina (Wireless)

2nd Partial: Southern side of Capital Hill, Mt. Tapochao, Talafofo, 1-Denii, Agag, As Teo, and northern side of Papago

3rd Partial: Southern side of Papago, Kagman, Kagman Homestead I, 2, 3, & 4, Kagman Elementary, Junior High, and High School

• Water service area(s) affected: All water wells located at the above-mentioned areas.

• Wastewater service area(s) affected: None

• Traffic lights affected: Sadog Tasi (near Mobil), Kagman (near Mobil), Lower Base (near Saipan Ice)

• Work to be performed: To safely disconnect the lateral conductors from the primary lines in Lower Base (serving Procurement and Supply, NMTI, PSS Motor Pool and Saipan Ice).

8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

• Outage Type: Sectionalized lateral outage on Feeder 4 distribution circuit.

• Power service area(s) affected:

Lower Base (Wushin Corporation, Procurement & Supply, NMTI, PSS Motor Pool and Saipan Ice)

• Water service area(s) affected: None

• Wastewater service area(s) affected: None

• Traffic lights affected: Lower Base (near Saipan Ice)

• Work to be performed: To install new air break switch and concrete pole in Lower Base near Wushin Corporation and to replace leaning pole in front of NMTI.

1 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.

• Outage Type: Lateral re-connection outage on Feeder 4 and Feeder 7 distribution circuit.

• Power service area(s) affected:

Feeder 4

1st Partial: Lower Base, a portion of the northern side of Sadog Tasi, government offices, northern side of Capital Hill, and As Quina (Wireless)

1st Partial: Lower Base, Tanapag, Tanapag Elementary School, Santa Remedios Church, and As Mahetog

2nd Partial: Achugao, San Roque, San Roque Elementary School, San Roque Church, As Matuis, and Marpi

• Water service area(s) affected: All water wells located at the above-mentioned areas.

• Wastewater service area(s) affected: All lift stations located at the above-mentioned areas under Feeder 7.

• Traffic lights affected: Sadog Tasi (near Mobil), Kagman (near Mobil), Lower Base (near Saipan Ice)

• Work to be performed: To safely re-connect the lateral conductors from the primary lines in Lower Base (serving Procurement and Supply, NMTI, PSS Motor Pool and Saipan Ice) and to install conductor jumpers on Feeder 7 primary lines near Saipan fee traffic light intersection.

Water services to certain areas may be affected during the power interruption; however, services should be restored after the power is re-energized.
